Highlights | Round 2 | Valspar | 2023

Check out the best shots of the day from Round 2 of the 2023 Valspar Championship, featuring Adam Schenk, Tommy Fleetwood, Jordan Spieth, and Davis Riley among others.

This week Sam Burns will look to become the first player since Steve Stricker in 2011 to win the same event three times in a row as the TOUR finishes the “Florida Swing” at the Valspar Championship. At last year’s event, Burns overcame a three-shot deficit in the final round, defeating Davis Riley in a two-hole playoff to defend his title at Innisbrook Resort (Copperhead Course). This year, Burns will once again have to overcome 15-time PGA TOUR winner Justin Thomas, who finished T2 last year, just one shot out of the playoff. Reigning U.S. Open champion Matt Fitzpatrick finished an impressive T5 last year and will be looking for his first non-major win on the PGA TOUR, with his other professional wins coming on the DP World Tour and Asian Tour. Three-time major winner and 2015 Valspar champion Jordan Spieth will be teeing it up again this week after a lucky ricochet at The PLAYERS saw him make an unlikely eagle to make the cut and finish inside the top 20. After tasting victory on TOUR for the first time in over four years at the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am in February, Justin Rose will be looking to continue his good form after finishing T6 at TPC Sawgrass last week.

  1. Personally, I liked the announcer. Brought some much needed energy to the otherwise usual dry commentary. Happy st patty’s day all!

  2. Hey PGA! Can we get some Midlights someday? These shots are too perfect!

Also, I don’t like this new ball Bifurcation… just incase you are wondering.

  3. I really like Jaeger’s putting stance and stroke. He stands taller, allows his body to move naturally after striking the putt..Keep your chin up, you’ll make even more putts. Good luck Jaeger!!

  4. Patrick Salazar

Somehow, PGA announcers think it’s more exciting when they yell. Just call the round, guys, this isn’t high school.

  5. The commentators voice and annoying quips forced me to stop watching this halfway through.

  6. Charlie Smithers

If Americans can’t handle the giggle juice I’d suggest you don’t let them commentate
