This week Sam Burns will look to become the first player since Steve Stricker in 2011 to win the same event three times in a row as the TOUR finishes the “Florida Swing” at the Valspar Championship. At last year’s event, Burns overcame a three-shot deficit in the final round, defeating Davis Riley in a two-hole playoff to defend his title at Innisbrook Resort (Copperhead Course). This year, Burns will once again have to overcome 15-time PGA TOUR winner Justin Thomas, who finished T2 last year, just one shot out of the playoff. Reigning U.S. Open champion Matt Fitzpatrick finished an impressive T5 last year and will be looking for his first non-major win on the PGA TOUR, with his other professional wins coming on the DP World Tour and Asian Tour. Three-time major winner and 2015 Valspar champion Jordan Spieth will be teeing it up again this week after a lucky ricochet at The PLAYERS saw him make an unlikely eagle to make the cut and finish inside the top 20. After tasting victory on TOUR for the first time in over four years at the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am in February, Justin Rose will be looking to continue his good form after finishing T6 at TPC Sawgrass last week.

  1. In almost ALL those clips, you can hear airplanes overhead….if its that annoying on video, I can only imagine being there in person. Gross, noise pollution.

  2. Can’t wait to be able to out drive the pros with the new ball it’s gunna be so exciting to watch!

On a serious note announcers… Noone care about your riveting story when an amazing shot/putt is happening and no one would notice if you cut your story short to actually comment lol

  3. Ken Ray Wilemon

who is the terrible announcer who screeches on close shots? That’s not Nance, is it???

    1. @Lickamabalz Gently No, something tells me you are American. Not even in the same country dude. Will have to be a long distance relationship.

  4. This is a challenging course as I’ve been there a few time playing the copperhead now lounging for life in NYC! One of many nice resorts in Florida and the world!

    1. lmao seriously! Although I think one of the male commentators is much more lively than normal for golf, I was really appreciating that.

  5. This course looks beautiful and relaxing. Pure golf. I like courses that include lots of different shots, or 2 shot par 4’s and less than 600 par 5 ‘s.

  6. Fun week for the smaller guys on tour! Hope somebody takes advantage of it and secures a card or something

  7. Sad to watch golf with out Tiger in his prime! Golf is back to like, watching grass grow again…😢

  8. Every shot stops within 6 feet; every putt and short chip goes in the hole. Highlites are boring and predictable.
